About me and the blog
Hiya. I’m Kathi. This is my highly personal take on my favorite topics: the care and training of Rottweilers, and the care and taming of technology. Remember: don’t let either of them know that you’re scared!
I doubt I’ll be able to keep myself from writing on other topics, so expect some variety now and then.
A bit about me: I’m a longtime resident of Chicago (Nort’west Side), but home will always be Honolulu. Happily married, mom to two Rottweilers, two tabby cats and no young humans. I was a small business owner and one of four partners in a small prepress production firm for over 20 years. The bad economy and shrinking niche forced the closing of our River North office and a career change for me. I now contribute to the household income as an employee of a property management company in the Nort’west suburbs. I occasionally do freelance proofreading, copyediting, and prepress production when the opportunity arises. My husband is in the recession-resistant field of emergency services.
I write mostly for myself. The opinions expressed in this blog are mine, and do not reflect those of my business colleagues, spouse or other family members, or any other groups I belong to, unless specifically identified as such. In any case, I am always happy to have friends old and new along for the ride. Join me!
